Medical Examination for South Korea Visa Applicants

Each Applicant must submit an Online Registration to secure an appointment.

Applicants must fast 8 – 10 hours before the examination and blood extraction must be done in the morning.

Female applicants are advised to undergo the medical examinations one week after the last day of their menstruation to ensure the absence of spotting.

Kindly bring the following on your medical examination:

  1. Printed Online Registration Confirmation Email

  2. Instruction or endorsement letter from IHC or KOICA (if applicable)

  3. Certificate of Health from IHC or KOICA

  4. Passport and colored photocopy of passport (2 copies)

  5. 2 passport-sized photos

Whenever applicable, please bring the following:

  • Old chest x-ray films not less than 3 months prior to the medical examination

  • Medical certificate regarding a previously-treated or currently managed clinically significant illness

    • The medical certificate should contain the following information:

    • Medical Treatment

      • name of medication (brand and/or generic name)

      • dosage

      • duration and dates of treatment

    • surgical procedure done

    • complete final diagnosis

    • outcome of treatment or treatment plans and prognosis, if available

REMINDERS:

  • Applicants must fast 8 – 10 hours before the examination and blood extraction must be done in the morning.

  • PPD test is not available on Thursdays. A PPD or mantoux test is included in your medical examination and you will be required to return to our clinic 48 to 72 hours after placement of the PPD or mantoux test.

  • Female applicants are advised to undergo the medical examinations one week after the last day of their menstruation to ensure the absence of spotting.

Each Applicant must submit an Online Registration to secure an appointment.

Tuberculosis screening for South Korea visa applicants is performed at both of our clinics. Please see clinic schedules below:

  3. 2 passport-sized photos (taken within the last 6 months)

  4. Printout of the certificate of health form from the South Korean embassy’s website (printed in A4)
